Financial Advisor

Alan analyzes his client's individual needs to assist them on a course to reach their financial goals. From personal experience he understands the challenges of putting children through college, planning for retirement, and working with parents that need long-term care. He is excited to educate his clients in the benefits of working with an independent financial firm. Alan works with clients from main street America, including military members and veterans, airline crews, and outdoor enthusiasts.

Alan grew up in Georgia and graduated from the US Air Force Academy. He and his wife Maureen raised three children, and they all graduated without any college related debt. During his Air Force career, he flew Rescue and Special Operations helicopters, and taught cadets at the US Air Force Academy before commanding a support squadron and support group. Also, he was director of plans at Special Operations Command (Europe), and led a Base Realignment and Closure portfolio worth over $870 million. After his retirement from the Air Force, Alan flew commercially for nine years and still flies for fun.

Alan enjoys outdoor activities including running, hiking, and biking. He has climbed all of the 14ers in Colorado, as well as Mt. Rainier and Kilimanjaro,  He hiked the 485-mile Colorado Trail, from Littleton to Durango. Alan is a Scoutmaster for a Scouts BSA troop and volunteers with the Colorado Mountain Club.  He serves on the Board of Directors for Victory Service Dogs.
